Royal Princess has completed a two-week Singapore refit, adding O’Malley’s Irish Pub, an expanded Bellini’s cocktail bar and 20 guest cabins ahead of its Australian summer season. The work also brings Sanctuary Collection accommodation and dedicated dining to the ship, with access to its Sanctuary Club changing in phases.
The October 16–30 drydock refreshed shared spaces and accommodation before Royal Princess’s Australian summer season. The Sanctuary rollout carries different start dates for onboard benefits and exclusive club access.
A New Irish Pub and a Larger Bellini’s
O’Malley’s Irish Pub takes over the former Vines location on Deck 5. Princess describes the new venue as a pub-style setting for Irish-inspired food and drinks, adding another place to meet before or after dinner.
Bellini’s has expanded into the former Photo Gallery space, creating a larger cocktail venue overlooking the Piazza. Its menu includes Bellini-inspired drinks, champagne and sparkling wines, according to the line’s refit announcement.
Food and drink charges at the venues depend on the passenger’s fare and package inclusions.
Twenty More Cabins, Including Solo Accommodation
The drydock added four types of accommodation:
- Six mini-suites
- Seven oceanview cabins
- Two interior cabins
- Five single interior cabins
The five single cabins add an option for solo passengers, with fares varying by departure and availability.
New oceanview accommodation can also be reserved within Sanctuary Collection, alongside qualifying suites, mini-suites, deluxe balconies and balcony cabins.
Sanctuary Collection Arrives in Phases
The Sanctuary Restaurant has opened on Deck 6 beside the Concerto Dining Room for Sanctuary Collection guests. Suite guests also have access to the dedicated Suite Lounge.
The club’s access rules have a separate timetable. Princess says the former Retreat Pool and The Sanctuary, now the Sanctuary Club, remain available to guests aged 16 and older on voyages through April 21, 2027. Exclusive Sanctuary Collection access begins on April 22, 2027.
Royal Princess’s Sanctuary Collection programme has a published onboard start date of January 4, 2027, following preview sailings from October 30, 2026. Princess sets out the phased benefits and booking arrangements on its ship page.
Princess Premier is an additional purchase during preview sailings. Reservations made before the October 22 on-sale date retain their original package inclusions.
Casino and Retail Spaces Get Updates
The Princess Casino has been reconfigured to create more space for slot machines, including removal of the staircase between Decks 6 and 7. The Effy jewellery boutique has also been refreshed, while the ship’s shops transition to retail partner Starboard.
Royal Princess Heads for Sydney
Following the Singapore drydock, Royal Princess heads to Sydney for the 2026–27 season, with voyages serving Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, alongside shorter coastal sailings.
Royal Princess forms part of the five-ship rollout. Passengers sailing during the introduction should check the dates applying to each Sanctuary benefit.
The stateroom category, departure date and package shown on a reservation determine access to the private dining spaces, club facilities and other inclusions.
