Key Notes

  • Fairfield by Marriott has made its Thailand debut with a 218-room-and-suite hotel in Krabi’s Ao Nang district.
  • The property offers six accommodation categories, two swimming pools, a water slide and a 24-hour gym.
  • An opening package starts from THB 5,225 per night with breakfast for two and two drinks per stay, subject to its terms.

Fairfield by Marriott has opened its first hotel in Thailand, choosing Krabi’s Ao Nang district for a 218-room-and-suite property. Fairfield by Marriott Krabi Ao Nang Beach adds pool-access accommodation, two swimming pools and several dining venues to a destination better known for its limestone cliffs and island-hopping trips.

Marriott announced the opening on November 3. The hotel is close to Ao Nang’s shops, restaurants and bars, with access to boat departure points for Railay Bay and the Phi Phi Islands. Krabi International Airport is approximately 27 kilometers away.

218 Rooms, Including Pool-Access Options

The hotel has six accommodation categories, with rooms and suites measuring 24 to 48 square meters. Floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies and workspaces feature in the design, while king and twin configurations offer choices for couples, friends and families.

The main options include:

  • Garden View: accommodation looking onto the hotel’s greenery.
  • Pool View: rooms overlooking the swimming area.
  • Pool Access: selected rooms with direct access to the water.

Marriott’s hotel page also lists a two-bedroom family suite. That makes the room layout worth comparing alongside the nightly price, particularly for travelers who want separate sleeping areas rather than several beds in one room.

Pool Time and Dining in Ao Nang

Two pools, a children’s water slide and a 24-hour fitness center provide ways to spend time at the hotel between excursions. The property also has an outdoor lawn for celebrations and complimentary on-site parking.

Breakfast is served at the all-day dining restaurant. Breeze Café & Bistro offers Thai and international dishes for lunch and dinner, with evening entertainment, while Style Bar and the poolside S Bar cover drinks and lighter refreshments.

An Opening Offer From THB 5,225

The hotel’s opening package starts from THB 5,225 per night and includes buffet breakfast for up to two guests plus two drinks per stay. Published stay dates run from October 29, 2026, through March 31, 2027, using promotional code ES7.

Breakfast is a package inclusion, rather than a benefit to assume with every reservation: the property’s general information says it does not offer universal free breakfast. Travelers should compare the package with other available rates and check the full terms for their dates.

Another Marriott Opening on the Andaman Coast

The launch follows the arrival of Four Points by Sheraton Krabi Ao Nang Beach Resort, which brings a different Marriott brand to the same coastal district. For visitors, the two openings widen the choice of branded hotels around Ao Nang rather than concentrating new rooms in a single resort.

Fairfield has also been expanding elsewhere in Asia, reaching 100 hotels in Greater China earlier this year. Its first Thai property brings that expansion into a leisure market where guests can combine a familiar hotel brand with beach days, local dining and boat trips.
