Pacaso has brought its Infinity home-exchange network to France, offering approved second-home owners a way to turn unused time at their properties into stays elsewhere. The launch extends a private membership model rather than adding another public holiday-rental marketplace.
The French introduction was marked by a private preview on October 22 at a residence on rue des Beaux-Arts in Paris’s 6th arrondissement. Details published on October 23 describe a network that has grown to more than 70 destinations in over 10 countries since its February 2026 debut.
How the Home Exchange Works
Members keep ownership of their properties and make at least 14 days available to the community each year. They can arrange a direct exchange with another owner or earn credits by hosting a stay, then use those credits for a different property later. A simultaneous swap between the same two households is not required.
According to the launch details, members can browse stays through a rolling 24-month calendar. Pacaso handles scheduling, confirmations and arrival information, while the owner’s existing property manager continues preparing and closing the home.
For a traveler who already owns a qualifying second home, the practical change is flexibility: an unused period in one destination can support a trip to another. It does not mean every member can reserve any house on any dates. The calendar and the confirmed exchange remain central to making a trip work.
Who Can Join Infinity in France?
The French launch material describes eligible second homes valued between €3 million and €20 million. Admission is invitation-only, with the homeowner, home and property manager vetted. Residences are assessed for location, architecture, character and quality of care, and listings remain private to approved members.
That makes Infinity different from browsing an open rental site and paying for a night. Its intended audience is owners who can contribute a home to the network. The launch does not establish a public nightly tariff or make the collection available to all visitors planning a French holiday.
Where the Network Extends Beyond France
Destinations named in the launch include St. Barths, Tuscany, Verbier, New York and Napa Valley, alongside the wider collection. France adds another source of participating homes and stays, with the company highlighting Parisian apartments, Provence and the Côte d’Azur as part of its appeal.
Before making travel arrangements, prospective members should request current membership terms, any applicable charges, the availability of their preferred home and the cancellation conditions for a confirmed stay. The number of destinations describes the network’s reach, not a guarantee of a particular reservation.
We have also covered the ThirdHome–Anantara partnership, another example of luxury travel through exchange networks. Pacaso’s French launch adds a further option for owners who want to use an existing second home to travel more widely.
