Key Notes
- Eligible visitors earn one bonus Skywards Mile per minute in Dubai, capped at 7,200 Miles after five full days.
- Register and book by November 5, with the eligible return journey completed by December 13, 2026.
- The offer is for non-UAE residents staying 24 hours to 30 days, with one bonus for the first qualifying stay.
Emirates Skywards is bringing back its Mile-A-Minute offer, giving eligible international visitors one bonus Skywards Mile for every minute spent in Dubai. The promotion covers qualifying return journeys with Emirates and flydubai, with a maximum reward of 7,200 bonus Miles.
Registration and ticketing close on November 5, 2026, and the eligible journey must begin and end by December 13. A holiday or extended stopover can qualify, making the offer relevant to travelers who want to spend time in Dubai between flights.
How Many Skywards Miles Can You Earn?
The calculation is straightforward: 60 minutes earn 60 bonus Miles, subject to the minimum qualifying stay and the overall cap. For complete 24-hour periods, the examples work out as follows:
- 24 hours in Dubai: 1,440 bonus Miles
- 48 hours: 2,880 bonus Miles
- 72 hours: 4,320 bonus Miles
- 120 hours, or five full days: the maximum 7,200 bonus Miles
Longer eligible stays still earn no more than 7,200 Miles. The calculation uses the scheduled arrival and departure times on the ticket, so the number of hotel nights is not the measure that determines the bonus.
Who Qualifies for the Dubai Offer?
The full terms set out the main requirements:
- Be an Emirates Skywards member and register for the promotion by 11:59 pm Dubai time on November 5; new members can join before the deadline
- Book and have an eligible return ticket issued between October 21 and November 5, 2026
- Start and complete the eligible journey between October 21 and December 13, 2026
- Reside outside the UAE, as recorded in the Skywards profile, and begin the journey outside the UAE
- Spend at least 24 hours and no more than 30 days in Dubai
- Use an eligible fare that normally earns Skywards Miles; one-way fares do not qualify
Tickets can be bought directly from the airlines or through a travel agent, but tickets issued in the UAE are excluded. Eligible flights must carry an EK or FZ flight number and be operated by Emirates or flydubai; other codeshare and interline flights are excluded. The booking and travel deadlines use Dubai time.
When Will the Bonus Miles Arrive?
The bonus is awarded once per member, for the first eligible Dubai stay, and is due within 30 days of completing that stay. It is additional to the normal Miles earned from the flight.
If another offer or promotion also qualifies the member for bonus Skywards Miles, the terms say only the higher eligible promotional bonus will be credited. Check that condition before assuming multiple bonuses can be combined.
Plan Around Hours, Not Hotel Nights
A stay from 6 pm on November 1 to 10 am on November 5 would contain 88 hours, earning 5,280 bonus Miles if all conditions are met. Although it touches five calendar dates, it does not reach the five full days needed for the maximum reward.
For a short stopover, check the 24-hour minimum just as carefully: an evening arrival followed by a departure the next morning may not qualify. For a longer holiday, the 30-day maximum still applies even though the mileage reward stops growing after five days.
Compare the full fare and accommodation costs when deciding whether the trip works for you. We have also covered Emirates’ Dubai fare flexibility; the current conditions attached to your chosen ticket remain worth checking alongside the mileage offer.
Members can register through Emirates’ offer page and eligible airline channels. Complete the registration separately from buying the ticket, then keep the itinerary details to check against the bonus after the stay.
