Royal Caribbean Group raised its 2026 profit forecast after stronger last-minute cruise demand helped third-quarter earnings exceed expectations. MarketSpeaker reported that the company now expects adjusted earnings of $17.85–$17.95 per share, up from $17.73–$17.87 previously.

The group’s October 27 results showed revenue rising 9% to $5.6 billion and adjusted earnings reaching $6.57 per share, compared with $5.75 a year earlier. It carried 2.7 million guests, with near-departure bookings in Europe and the Caribbean outperforming expectations.

Growth also reflected more available berths: capacity increased 8%, while net yields rose 0.6% at constant exchange rates. Lower quarterly costs partly reflected expenses moving into the fourth quarter. Higher fuel costs and currency movements offset some of the improvement in the full-year forecast.

Booking volumes for 2027 sailings have risen at a high-teens percentage rate since the previous earnings update, according to the group. Capacity is forecast to grow about 4.5% next year, with additions including Hero of the Seas, scheduled to debut in August 2027.

The company is also preparing to broaden its resort business through the Sandals deal we covered in September. Its purchase of a 50% stake in Sandals and Beaches remains subject to approvals, with closing expected in early 2027 and earnings guidance to incorporate the investment after completion.
