Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has introduced its first all-inclusive package in Mexico at Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya, adding a new luxury option for travelers who want the ease of bundled resort access without giving up the brand’s more refined hospitality model. The package is available for booking and travel through 2027 and applies to all room categories, with no minimum stay required.
The move places the Riviera Maya property among a select group of Waldorf Astoria hotels globally offering an all-inclusive program. It also reflects a broader shift in luxury hospitality, where high-end guests increasingly want flexibility, transparency and fewer transactional moments during a stay. Instead of choosing between traditional à la carte luxury and conventional all-inclusive resorts, the package is designed to bring both ideas closer together.
Located on a secluded stretch of Caribbean coastline surrounded by mangroves, Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya features 173 guestrooms and suites. Each accommodation includes panoramic ocean views and a private terrace with a soaking tub, reinforcing the property’s position as a quieter, more residential-style luxury retreat within one of Mexico’s most competitive resort corridors.
The package includes unlimited premium beverages, artisanal cocktails, sommelier-selected wines, open bar access from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., daily minibar access and in-room dining. Guests also receive access to the resort’s oceanfront pools, private beach areas and fitness center.
Dining is the main focus of the new offer. Malpeque, the resort’s flagship beachfront restaurant led by Chef Mauricio Lazcano, centers on open-flame coastal cooking, with dishes such as grilled octopus, lobster and colossal shrimp. JA’O offers a refined take on the Mexican cantina, while Chaya serves breakfast and lunch. Peacock Alley, the brand’s signature lobby lounge concept, adds small bites and curated cocktails to the mix.
The resort says the package is intended to let guests explore the property’s full culinary program with fewer decisions and more freedom. Evening reservations at Malpeque and JA’O are available through the package, giving travelers access to the resort’s more elevated dining spaces as part of the bundled experience.
The new offer also fits into the Riviera Maya’s wider evolution. All-inclusive resorts have long been central to the region, but luxury brands are increasingly adapting the model for travelers who want premium service, stronger dining, wellness access and a more personalized atmosphere. For Waldorf Astoria, the challenge is to offer convenience while preserving the sense of place and service expectations associated with the brand.
Beyond the resort, guests can arrange experiences through the concierge team, including yacht excursions, golf at El Tinto Golf Course, cenote exploration and visits to nearby archaeological sites. Wellness and cultural programming inspired by the Riviera Maya’s natural landscape is also available, while the Waldorf Astoria Spa draws from Mayan healing traditions and modern wellness practices.
For travelers, the package offers a more predictable way to experience one of the Riviera Maya’s higher-end resorts. For Waldorf Astoria, it signals that all-inclusive luxury is no longer limited to traditional resort brands. It is becoming another format for delivering premium hospitality in markets where guests want both control and ease.
