Motel One Group is expanding its technology partnership with dailypoint in a move that could make guest data a bigger competitive advantage across its 110-hotel portfolio. The expanded agreement now covers Customer Relationship Management, Customer Data Platform capabilities and B2B Sales, giving the European budget design hotel group a more unified way to manage guest and corporate customer information.

The collaboration follows the technical migration of Motel One’s 110 properties to Oracle OPERA Cloud. Through the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform, the hotels are now connected to dailypoint’s Customer Data Platform, creating a real-time, bidirectional flow of information between property systems and the centralized guest data platform.

For a hotel group operating at scale, that matters. Guest data often sits across fragmented systems, including property management platforms, booking engines, marketing tools, loyalty databases, point-of-sale systems and Wi-Fi networks. Without a unified profile, hotels can end up with duplicate records, incomplete preferences and inconsistent communication. Motel One’s expanded use of dailypoint is designed to reduce that problem.

The goal is to consolidate guest data from multiple sources into a single database, remove duplicates and improve personalization. That could help the group communicate with guests more efficiently, recognize returning travelers more accurately and deliver more relevant offers or service touches before, during and after a stay.

Why Real-Time Hotel Data Matters

The most important part of the upgrade is the real-time data connection across all 110 properties. A bidirectional flow means updated guest information can move between the hotel’s property management system and the customer data platform without waiting for slow manual processes or delayed system syncs.

That has practical implications for hotel operations. Front-desk teams, marketing platforms and corporate sales managers can work from more current guest preferences, reservation details and stay behavior. In theory, that should make decisions faster and reduce the risk that one part of the business is acting on outdated information.

The expanded partnership also strengthens Motel One’s B2B sales capabilities. dailypoint’s platform will support the structured management of corporate customer data, helping the hotel group improve account management and support for business clients. For a brand with properties across major European cities and metropolitan destinations, corporate travel accounts are an important part of the revenue mix.

Motel One operates more than 110 hotels with about 29,000 rooms across countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Spain, France, the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland. The group also operates lifestyle brand The Cloud One Hotels, which launched with its first property in New York.

For dailypoint, the expanded agreement highlights how customer data platforms are becoming core hotel infrastructure rather than optional marketing tools. The company says its platform can collect and unify data from more than 200 systems, creating central guest profiles for CRM, loyalty, communications and operations.

The Motel One rollout shows where hotel technology is heading. The next stage of guest experience may depend less on a single app or loyalty perk and more on whether hotel groups can connect clean data across every property, system and customer touchpoint.
