Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos is now accepting reservations ahead of its June 26 opening, adding a new luxury address to one of Greece’s most recognizable summer destinations. The 94-room hotel is set on the western side of Kalo Livadi Bay, about 20 minutes from Mykonos Airport and the island’s main town of Chora.
The property is designed as a cliffside retreat that descends through landscaped terraces, gardens and stone walkways toward a private beach on the Aegean Sea. For Four Seasons, the opening expands its presence in Greece beyond the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens on the Athens Riviera, while also strengthening the brand’s position in high-end Mediterranean resort travel.
Mykonos has long been associated with beach clubs, nightlife, whitewashed villages and high-season glamour. The new hotel is being positioned as a more serene version of the island experience, giving guests access to the island’s social energy while offering a private, residential-style base away from the busiest areas.
A Cliffside Resort Built Around Views and Privacy
Designed by Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis in classic Cycladic style, the 15-acre property is arranged like a small village. Its rooms and suites are connected by shaded stone paths, quiet courtyards and flowering gardens, with landscaping by Helli Pangalou helping soften the hotel’s rocky coastal setting.
All accommodations are expected to feature panoramic water views and furnished terraces, with many categories offering private plunge pools that appear to spill toward the sea. That emphasis on outdoor living fits the broader direction of luxury resort design in the Mediterranean, where privacy, space and a strong sense of place now matter as much as traditional service.
The hotel is also highlighting sustainable operating practices, including desalinated seawater, solar energy and advanced waste management. Those features are increasingly important in destinations such as Mykonos, where high visitor demand places pressure on water, infrastructure and local resources during the summer season.
Dining, Wellness and Island Access
Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos will open with four main dining and drinking concepts designed by Rockwell Group. Álef will focus on Mediterranean grilling, while Corbu will offer coastal Italian cuisine. Kafeneo is intended as a Greek coffee house, and The Beach will serve cocktails, juices and coffees from morning through sunset. Private dining will also be available, including a room at Álef for up to 15 guests.
The wellness program includes a spa with seven treatment rooms, a couple’s room, a larger suite, an outdoor spa pavilion, a juice bar, sauna and steam facilities. The resort will also feature a fitness studio, yoga pavilion and two infinity pools with sea views.
For families, the hotel will offer a supervised kids’ club for children ages 5 to 12, babysitting services, suites and connecting rooms. For couples and groups, an on-site chapel adds a wedding and celebration component to the property.
Location will be a central part of the guest experience. The hotel will offer regular shuttles and private transportation to Chora, while its jetty will serve as a departure point for yacht trips to secluded beaches, kitesurfing areas and nearby islands. Delos, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites, is also positioned as a key cultural excursion.
The opening comes as luxury hotel brands continue to deepen their presence in Greece, where summer demand remains strong and travelers are increasingly looking for properties that combine resort privacy with access to culture, dining and island exploration. For Mykonos, Four Seasons adds another high-profile name to an already competitive luxury market.
