Key Notes

  • Club Med St Croix has opened bookings for stays from November 12, 2027, with introductory rates from $365 per person per night.
  • The former Carambola Beach Resort will become a 150-suite Exclusive Collection retreat welcoming guests ages 12 and older.
  • Plans include three dining venues, four bars and lounges, an infinity pool, a spa and a Zen Oasis pool and bar reserved for adults ages 18 and older.

Club Med has opened reservations for its St. Croix resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands, with stays beginning November 12, 2027. The 150-suite all-inclusive will welcome guests ages 12 and older, with introductory rates starting at $365 per person per night.

The Davis Bay property will join the brand’s Exclusive Collection, its highest-tier all-inclusive offering, and become the collection’s second resort in North America. Bookings opened on November 5 through Club Med and travel advisors.

A New Chapter for Carambola Beach Resort

The project redevelops the former Carambola Beach Resort, originally built in 1986 by Laurance Rockefeller. Club Med plans to retain elements of its architectural character while updating the accommodation and public spaces with Caribbean-inspired interiors.

Every suite will be oceanfront or offer sea views. The resort’s setting places it between a crescent-shaped beach and the island’s wooded hills, with some accommodation close to Carambola Beach itself.

The reopening under a new brand also marks Club Med’s return to U.S. shores. Its former Florida property has a separate story: we previously covered the Sandpiper conversion in Port St. Lucie, where the site was repositioned under the Voco name.

Three Dining Venues and an Adults-Only Retreat

Club Med’s announcement outlines three dining experiences, including the brand’s first teppanyaki concept, alongside four bars and lounges. An infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean and a full-service spa are also planned.

The resort’s age policy is important when planning a family trip. Guests must be at least 12, while the Zen Oasis pool and bar will be reserved for adults ages 18 and older. Families with teenagers can therefore stay at the resort, with some spaces set aside for adults.

Snorkeling, Pickleball and Island Outings

The current resort page lists activities including snorkeling, pickleball, yoga, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and fitness. The Spa by Sothys and excursions offer additional ways to spend time away from the beach; travelers should review their chosen package’s inclusions and any additional charges.

St. Croix also gives guests reasons to leave the resort. Christiansted and Frederiksted have historic waterfronts and colorful streets, while Buck Island Reef National Monument is among the island’s best-known places for exploring its marine environment.

What the Starting Rate Means

The $365 introductory figure is a per-person, per-night rate. It is not a room price or a fixed fare for every departure date, so compare the quote for the full party, suite category and length of stay before deciding on a budget.

Reservations are available on the booking page or through travel advisors. The announced opening remains more than a year away, so check the dates and terms attached to the booking when coordinating flights and other arrangements.
