Key Notes
- Tivoli’s newly announced festive programme spans hotels in Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
- Highlights include a Milan Christmas Suite from December 1 and a New Year’s Eve performance by Mariza in Vilamoura.
- Event inclusions vary by property, so travelers should confirm dining, entertainment and room-package terms before booking.
Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its 2026 Christmas and New Year programme across Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, bringing together hotel dining, live music and seasonal experiences. The Minor Hotels brand announced the plans on November 6 as travelers begin finalizing festive breaks.
The festive programme offers different ways to celebrate, making the venue and evening’s format as important as the hotel itself.
Lisbon Rooftops and a Milan Christmas Suite
In Lisbon, SEEN Lisboa at Tivoli Avenida Liberdade will host New Year’s Eve dining and entertainment overlooking the city. In Milan, Tivoli President Milano plans to transform its Presidential Suite and rooftop terrace into a Christmas-themed setting from December 1, available for hotel guests and private events.
Mariza Headlines New Year’s Eve in Vilamoura
Tivoli Marina Vilamoura’s New Year offer centres on a gala at the Algarve Congress Centre and a performance by Portuguese fado singer Mariza. The advertised experience includes a welcome cocktail, dinner with selected drinks, the concert, fireworks, an open bar and supper.
The hotel also describes an overnight-stay option with New Year’s Day brunch. Travelers should request a current quote for their dates and party size: a headline package price is useful only when its occupancy, inclusions and booking conditions are clear.
Port Wine and River Views in Gaia
Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia will pair its seasonal dining with Port wine overlooking the Douro. The setting puts Porto’s wine heritage at the centre of the stay, rather than treating the festive meal as a standalone event.
The hotel overview lists 150 rooms and suites, a wine cellar, restaurants associated with chef Nacho Manzano and a spa. Its Vila Nova de Gaia location offers a base for exploring the riverfront and crossing to Porto’s Ribeira district, adding a city-break itinerary around the celebrations.
Check the Event Separately From the Room
A room booking and a festive event reservation may come with different inclusions. Before paying, confirm whether dinner, entertainment, drinks and any brunch are part of the selected rate, and whether the venue welcomes children or requires a particular dress code.
For New Year’s Eve, also plan the return journey from the event and check the hotel’s cancellation deadline. Choosing the experience first—concert, rooftop party, wine-focused dinner or quieter coastal stay—makes it easier to compare the properties on more than their room price.
