Disney Previews Lakeshore Lodge’s Lobby and Branch & Brush Lounge
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027, with bookings starting October 6–8. New renderings reveal its lobby and Branch & Brush lounge.
Disney has offered a new look at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, revealing renderings of its grand lobby and Branch & Brush lounge ahead of reservations opening in October. The 967-room waterfront resort at Walt Disney World is scheduled to welcome its first guests on July 1, 2027.
The latest preview included a New York media event on October 1. Disney brought the Florida project to Manhattan’s Flatiron neighborhood with an outdoor, three-dimensional chalk mural by artist Tracy Lee Stum depicting its Daydream River lazy river.
A New Look at the Lobby and Branch & Brush
The lobby will combine floor-to-ceiling windows with Disney storytelling inspired by Pocahontas. Above the gathering space, a Colors of the Wind sculpture will use hundreds of suspended, blown-glass leaves. The newly released artwork shows how those details will sit within the resort’s large, light-filled interior.
Disney’s official update adds a closer look at the lobby’s bronze centerpiece, designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and etched with animated characters. An illuminated fiberoptic river will flow through the floor around it.
Just beyond the lobby, Branch & Brush will offer cocktails and views across Bay Lake. Its design draws on the changing seasons, with natural textures, artwork and a chandelier that changes color to evoke spring, summer, fall and winter. The images are artist renderings of the resort under construction.
Reservations Open October 6–8
Disney Vacation Club members will be able to make early rental reservations on October 6 through Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders follow on October 7 by calling (407) 934-7639. Reservations open to all guests on October 8, when bookings become available online or through the same reservation number.
Those October dates mark the start of reservations for future stays; the hotel itself opens next July. Travelers planning a summer 2027 visit should check the room category, total rate and cancellation terms when the booking window opens, rather than treating the new renderings as a complete picture of what their reservation includes.
Lake Houses, Pools and Access to Magic Kingdom
Lakeshore Lodge’s accommodation mix spans studios, villas and freestanding waterfront Lake Houses. We previously explored the room options, including one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses designed for up to five and eight guests. Those units include full kitchens, washers and dryers, and private porches facing the water.
The outdoor centerpiece is The Wetlands, with Daydream River, the Lakeshore Lagoon feature pool and wet and dry play areas. The recreation offering gives families another reason to leave time between park visits for the resort itself.
Disney’s resort details also list complimentary water-taxi transportation to Magic Kingdom and bus service to other parks and Disney Springs. Dining will include the lakeside Moonglade restaurant, quick-service Bay Lake Provisions and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill.
For prospective guests, the latest reveal helps explain the spaces they will use outside their rooms. The next practical milestone is the October reservation opening, when travelers can compare the available accommodations and decide how this new Bay Lake address fits their Walt Disney World plans.
