Wizz Air is bringing its #LetsGetLost mystery flight competition to Poland for the first time, giving travelers a chance to board a plane from Warsaw without knowing where they will land. The special flight is scheduled for September 25, 2026, with the destination remaining secret until the aircraft arrives.

The competition will select 25 winners, each of whom can bring one guest. Rather than choosing a conventional holiday destination, participants will have to share a photo or video on Instagram showing their adventurous side between August 27 and September 6. Entrants must tag Wizz Air, use the #LetsGetLostPoland hashtag, keep their profiles public and meet the competition’s age and eligibility requirements.

The mystery continues after the winners are selected. A few days before departure, travelers will receive just one practical piece of information: what type of weather they should expect and therefore what to pack. The destination itself will remain undisclosed until landing.

Wizz Air currently operates 67 routes from Warsaw across 26 countries, giving the airline plenty of possibilities for the mystery journey. Potential destinations suggested by the carrier include Madeira, Marrakech, Reykjavik, Tenerife, Malaga, Mallorca, Nice, Rome and destinations in Greece. The final location, however, could be somewhere entirely different.

The four-day trip is designed to make the mystery itself part of the travel experience. Winners can expect a program combining local culture, food, unexpected activities and surprises after arrival. Instead of planning an itinerary around a known city or resort, participants will discover the destination as the trip unfolds.

A Different Approach to Destination Travel

The concept reflects a broader shift toward experience-led travel, where the appeal is not necessarily knowing every detail before departure. For Wizz Air, #LetsGetLost turns the uncertainty surrounding a trip into its main attraction and gives the airline an opportunity to showcase the range of destinations available from its Warsaw base.

Poland is an important market for Wizz Air, and the airline describes itself as the country’s second-largest airline by market share. Bringing the competition to Warsaw also gives Polish travelers a chance to participate in a format that has become one of Wizz Air’s best-known promotional experiences.

The timing places the mystery flight at the beginning of autumn, when travelers can still encounter a wide range of European conditions, from Mediterranean warmth to cooler Atlantic or northern climates. That makes the single weather clue particularly useful while still preserving the central mystery.

For the winners, the experience will begin before they know their destination. They will arrive at Warsaw airport with a bag, a travel companion and limited information, then discover where they are going only after takeoff and landing.

With #LetsGetLost, Wizz Air is effectively selling the idea of travel without a predetermined destination. For adventurous passengers, the unknown becomes the itinerary.
