Sandals and Beaches Resorts are replacing their long-running Sandals Select Rewards program with Island Insiders Club, a refreshed loyalty platform designed to make repeat guests feel more connected to the brands and the Caribbean destinations they visit. The new program launches July 1, 2026, and current Sandals Select Rewards members will automatically move into Island Insiders Club without losing their status or existing benefits.

The change brings Sandals and Beaches under one broader loyalty identity. Guests can join before their first stay and begin earning status after that first trip, with seven levels running from Shell to Ambassador. The structure keeps the familiar rewards foundation while adding more flexible recognition, member-only access and experiences that extend beyond basic points.

Sandals says the new program was developed with guest feedback gathered through focus groups, surveys and direct conversations. That matters because the brand has a high-repeat customer base, especially among travelers who return to specific resorts, staff members and island experiences year after year. Island Insiders Club is being positioned less as a transactional loyalty scheme and more as a community for guests who already see Sandals and Beaches as part of their vacation routine.

Rewards Move Beyond Points

One of the central changes is the new Insider Reward, a flexible credit that members can use toward vacation experiences such as Red Lane Spa treatments or Island Routes excursions. This gives guests more control over how they apply benefits, rather than limiting rewards to a narrow set of fixed perks.

Members will also gain access to The Insiders Shop, a private online store with premium merchandise, limited-edition drops and handcrafted pieces. The move reflects how resort brands are increasingly using loyalty programs to build lifestyle connections beyond the stay itself, giving guests branded items and Caribbean-made products tied to their vacation identity.

Another notable benefit is the room upgrade hotline. Members can request upgrades 30 days before travel and receive up to 50% off when calling a dedicated number. Higher-tier Diamond, Pearl and Ambassador members will also have access to a dedicated VIP concierge line for support with flights, tours and special requests.

Other benefits include 20% off the manager’s wine list, special access to cabanas, member discounts on retail and watersports, a complimentary photo on each trip, and a complimentary one-week stay after every 70 paid nights. Ambassador members will also receive a $200 laundry service credit, a practical perk for longer Caribbean stays.

Caribbean Loyalty Gets More Experiential

The new program also puts greater emphasis on Insider events, both on and off resort. Sandals and Beaches plan to expand specialty weeks around diving, culinary experiences and autism inclusion, while also creating member events in source markets outside the Caribbean.

For Beaches Resorts, this approach aligns with its family travel positioning, especially as the brand continues to highlight autism inclusion and multigenerational vacations. For Sandals Resorts, it supports the adults-only all-inclusive model by adding more ways for couples and repeat guests to personalize their stays.

The program arrives as Sandals and Beaches continue expanding across the Caribbean, with Sandals operating resorts in Jamaica, The Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, Curacao, Grenada, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Beaches currently operates in Turks and Caicos and Jamaica, with future locations planned in Barbados, The Bahamas and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

For travelers, the practical message is simple: guests who already stay with Sandals or Beaches will keep their status while gaining a broader set of benefits. For the brands, Island Insiders Club is a way to deepen loyalty at a time when all-inclusive resorts are competing not only on rooms and beaches, but also on recognition, service and emotional connection.
