Jules Verne has launched its 2027–2028 Worldwide Collection, bringing together more than 120 small-group tours across over 80 destinations. New itineraries include a rail journey across Japan, a five-country Central Asia tour and shorter European holidays in Venice, Malta and Madeira.
The launch comes with two booking incentives for 2027 departures: £250 off eligible new bookings and a reduced £27-per-person deposit on selected tours. Both run through October 31, 2026, with conditions that travelers should check before choosing a departure.
Japan Rail and the Five Stans Lead the New Tours
The 18-day Japan by Rail itinerary travels from Fukuoka to Tokyo, combining train journeys with visits to Hiroshima, Okayama, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Kanazawa and Nagano. Cultural activities include a tea ceremony, soba noodle making and a visit to Arita, a town known for porcelain.
Starting at £7,995 per person based on two sharing, the Japan tour includes 17 nights’ accommodation, daily breakfast, six lunches, eight dinners, the described itinerary and guide services. Flights from the UK are priced separately. The route also includes road journeys, so travelers should look at the daily itinerary alongside the rail element.
The 21-day Five Stans tour covers Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. Its advertised starting price is £8,995 per person, excluding flights. For anyone considering a multi-country journey, the sequence of border crossings, transport and overnight stops is an important part of comparing itineraries.
China Highlights offers a shorter rail-focused option: 11 days from £1,795 per person, excluding flights. The itinerary connects Beijing, Pingyao, Xi’an and Shanghai, combining major historic sights with high-speed train travel.
New Tours and Advertised Starting Prices
The operator’s new tours listings include the following options. Prices are advertised starting rates per person, excluding flights, and depend on availability and departure date.
| Tour | Days | From |
|---|---|---|
| China Highlights | 11 | £1,795 |
| Hidden Venice & the Lagoon Islands | 6 | £1,389 |
| Best of Malta | 8 | £1,995 |
| Best of Madeira | 8 | £1,695 |
| Japan by Rail: Fukuoka to Tokyo | 18 | £7,995 |
| Five Stans: Grand Tour of Central Asia | 21 | £8,995 |
The European additions offer a different pace. Hidden Venice is based in Sant’Elena and includes lagoon-island visits and a vaporetto pass. Best of Malta combines Malta and Gozo, while Best of Madeira is based in Caniço, with walks, gardens, tastings and time in Funchal. Compare the amount of hotel changing and daily travel with the experiences you want most.
How the £250 Discount and £27 Deposit Work
Under the discount terms, code EARLY250 applies to eligible new bookings made between September 19 and October 31, 2026, for small-group tours departing during 2027. The saving is £250 per booking, with one discount per room, including when two travelers book separately and request to share.
The discount cannot be added retrospectively to an existing booking. Already discounted trips are excluded, and the terms restrict combining it with other offers. Travelers should confirm the applicable promotion on their chosen departure before calculating a saving.
The separate deposit offer is available on selected land-only 2027 tours booked by October 31, 2026. Flight-inclusive bookings and several named tours are excluded; flights may require a separate deposit. The balance is due no later than 91 days before departure, with full payment required at booking inside that window.
The reduced deposit lowers the initial payment while leaving the remaining holiday cost payable. Check eligibility, cancellation conditions and whether the two promotions can be combined for the specific booking.
Solo Options and Choosing the Right Trip
Jules Verne’s collection announcement also highlights solo-only departures and low or zero single supplements on selected tours. Those arrangements vary by itinerary and date. Solo travelers should request the actual single-room price and availability rather than using the twin-sharing starting rate as their budget.
As we covered in our Globus expansion article, tour operators are adding more cultural journeys in Asia and Africa for 2027. Jules Verne’s collection broadens those choices. Compare group size, included meals, flights, daily activity and free time to choose a trip that suits how you want to travel.
