Explora Journeys has launched a Memorial Day Weekend promotion offering up to 35 percent in savings and a reduced 10 percent deposit across all suite categories on selected sailings. The offer runs through May 26, 2026, and applies to more than 400 cruises departing from 2026 through May 2028. The scale of the campaign is notable because it extends well beyond near-term departures and includes voyages tied to the line’s recently released summer 2028 schedule.

The promotion, branded as “An Invitation to Explora, Memorial Day Edition,” can also be combined with other offers already in market. Those include solo traveler pricing through the Journey of One program, Explora Club member benefits, and family incentives for third and fourth guests sharing a suite. That stacking approach makes the campaign more commercially important than a standard seasonal discount, because it increases flexibility for different customer segments without requiring the line to narrow the offer to just one audience type.

Explora said the eligible sailings span a wide mix of itineraries, including cruises in Alaska, the Mediterranean, and more than 30 Grand Journeys. At the same time, the company excluded certain high-profile products such as the 2029 World Journey and Monaco Grand Prix-related packages, suggesting it is preserving pricing strength where demand is already likely to be strong.

For the cruise market, the promotion reflects a broader pattern of using limited-time offers, lower upfront deposits, and combinable benefits to secure earlier bookings in a competitive environment. For Explora Journeys, which is still building brand position in luxury cruising, the campaign is also a way to widen consideration without relying only on fare cuts. Lowering the entry point while keeping premium itinerary breadth intact may help the line improve conversion across both loyal cruise buyers and first-time luxury customers.
