VidantaWorld will begin welcoming guests to its BON Luxury Theme Park on October 24, 2026, adding a major entertainment attraction to its Vallarta-Nuevo Nayarit resort destination in Mexico. The company announced that the initial soft opening will be reserved exclusively for VidantaWorld guests, with access for the general public scheduled for April 2027.
The approximately $1.5 billion project, whose name stands for Beauty of Nature, is being marketed by its developer as the world’s first luxury theme park. Its concept combines rides, dining, live entertainment and hospitality, with deliberately limited nightly attendance intended to give visitors more space and a less crowded experience.
For families planning a resort vacation, the distinction between the two opening stages matters. Staying at VidantaWorld during the preview period makes guests eligible to purchase admission, but park tickets are sold separately and remain subject to availability.
Five Themed Worlds Open First
BON will initially open five areas: Laguna Feliz, Celebration Lagoon, Crystal Star Plaza, Discovery Jungle and Adventure Valley. The completed park is planned to offer more than 20 attractions and experiences across seven themed worlds, supported by restaurants, lounges and shops.
In Discovery Jungle, The Rise of Soluma is a suspended coaster with approximately 1,220 feet of track, a height of about 66 feet and speeds approaching 34 mph. Floresta Drop, in Laguna Feliz, takes riders roughly 131 feet above the treeline before its plunge. Adventure Valley’s Time Quest offers a spinning and swaying family ride, while The Crater at Celebration Lagoon stages a nightly water, fountain and light spectacle.
The park uses original characters and stories inspired by Mexican landscapes and mythology. Jungles, lagoons and natural scenery shape the environments, giving BON its own fictional universe rather than building the attraction lineup around licensed entertainment franchises.
Ride suppliers include Vekoma, which created The Rise of Soluma, and Intamin, the manufacturer behind Floresta Drop. Other engineering partners include Mack Rides, Zierer and Zamperla.
Evening Visits and a Gradual Rollout
BON is scheduled to operate in the evenings from Tuesday through Saturday. Grupo Vidanta executive vice president Ivan Chávez describes the project as a place where children, parents and grandparents can combine different interests within one shared outing, with spaces to dine and unwind alongside the thrill rides.
Resident production Cirque du Soleil LUDÕ also forms part of the destination’s entertainment offering. The show premiered in December 2025 and brings together more than 40 artists from over 20 countries, combining performance, visual storytelling and gastronomy in a purpose-built theater.
April’s public debut will not mark the end of construction and additions: the seven themed worlds are scheduled to open progressively through December 2027. Travelers should check which experiences are operating for their intended dates rather than assume the complete attraction lineup will be available immediately.
