Luxury tour operator Kensington has introduced a new ultra-premium travel division aimed at the growing number of travelers seeking deeper personalization, privacy and exclusive access. The newly launched Kensington Ultraluxe brings together several of the company’s high-end travel offerings into a single portfolio designed for the top tier of the luxury travel market.

The new division combines four specialized brands under one umbrella: Kensington Ultraluxe Land Tours, Kensington Villas, Kensington Expeditions and Kensington Yachts. Together, the collection offers fully curated journeys across land, sea and air, supported by what the company describes as white-glove service and extensive destination expertise.

Kensington said the Ultraluxe concept was created in response to evolving client expectations, particularly among repeat travelers who are looking for experiences that go beyond traditional luxury travel packages. According to company executives, affluent travelers are increasingly prioritizing privacy, rare access and highly personalized itineraries over standard luxury offerings.

The Ultraluxe portfolio launches with 28 initial signature itineraries that span destinations across Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and the Arctic. Many of these journeys combine multiple forms of travel and access to locations or experiences typically unavailable to the general public.

Examples include a private jet journey across Thailand that includes behind-the-scenes cultural experiences and stays at remote luxury lodges. Another itinerary combines private yacht charters in French Polynesia with seamless private jet transfers between islands, creating a highly exclusive multi-island travel experience.

In Europe, one program offers a curated Italian journey with private entry to the Vatican Museums, early access to the Sistine Chapel and a private viewing of Michelangelo’s David. Other itineraries feature helicopter transfers across the Greek islands or fly-fishing adventures in Iceland guided by local experts.

The Ultraluxe Land Tours component focuses on elevated land-based travel, pairing five-star accommodations with private guides and exclusive after-hours access to major cultural sites. Kensington Expeditions, meanwhile, focuses on more remote and exploratory journeys, bringing travelers to destinations such as Bhutan or Antarctica while connecting them with scientists, explorers and cultural experts.

The Kensington Villas portfolio provides access to thousands of private luxury residences around the world, while Kensington Yachts offers charter opportunities across a fleet of more than 5,000 vessels. These options allow travelers to design journeys that combine multiple modes of travel within a single itinerary.

According to Kensington president Helen Giontsis, the launch reflects broader changes in the luxury travel market. High-end travelers are increasingly looking for experiences that feel unique and impossible to replicate rather than simply extravagant.

Company executives say exclusivity in today’s luxury market is increasingly defined by access and customization. Instead of pre-packaged trips, many clients now want journeys designed around their personal interests, whether that involves private museum access, expert-led expeditions or tailored culinary experiences.

With the Ultraluxe launch, Kensington aims to position itself at the very top end of the luxury travel sector, catering to travelers who expect complete discretion, flexibility and highly individualized experiences.
