Radisson Hotel Group’s premium lifestyle brand, Radisson Collection, is entering 2025 with a bold expansion strategy. The group has announced the opening of seven new luxury hotels across Europe, North Africa, and Asia – further strengthening its global footprint and commitment to culturally inspired, design-led hospitality.

These upcoming properties highlight Radisson Collection’s ethos of combining timeless elegance with location-specific character, aiming to create immersive guest experiences shaped by local culture and refined comfort.

New Landmark Openings in Iconic Destinations

Among the standout additions is Cour des Loges Lyon, opening in spring 2025. Housed in a 14th-century mansion in the heart of Old Lyon, the property blends Gothic architecture with contemporary luxury. The hotel will also be home to the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Les Loges, promising a destination-worthy culinary experience.

In Hungary, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest, will open in March. Located beside St. Stephen’s Basilica, the 71-room hotel will feature sleek design elements, ISSEI rooftop dining with panoramic views, and chic social spaces tailored to both leisure and business travelers.

Germany welcomes back the Radisson Collection Hotel Berlin in April. After extensive renovations, the iconic property will reopen with a striking 16-meter-high indoor vertical garden featuring more than 2,000 plants—a signature touch that turns the hotel into a true urban oasis.

Design, Culture, and Elevated Living

Further enhancing the brand’s presence in Europe, the Radisson Collection Hotel, The National Brussels, will launch in the second quarter of 2025. Located next to a world-class golf course, the hotel will feature 150 upscale rooms, resort-style wellness amenities, and expansive event space ideal for business and luxury travelers alike.

In Italy, the transformation of the historic San Gottardo building into the Radisson Collection Hotel, Lake Como, will bring 72 rooms, lakeside fine dining, a full-service spa, and panoramic terrace views to one of Europe’s most romantic destinations.

The brand is also entering Morocco with Lincoln Casablanca, a Radisson Collection Hotel. This meticulously restored Art Deco gem, dating back to 1916, will feature 120 rooms and a rooftop restaurant overlooking Casablanca’s vibrant marina and Hassan II Mosque. It will open in late 2025.

The seventh new hotel, Radisson Collection Resort, Galle, opened earlier in 2025 in Sri Lanka. This oceanfront resort combines luxurious villas, a beach club, and deep-rooted cultural experiences.

A Strategic Shift Toward Global Luxury

These openings underscore Radisson Collection’s strategy to expand into culturally rich and high-demand destinations, offering travelers unique stays that prioritize design, gastronomy, wellness, and authenticity.

Whether it’s dining beneath Renaissance frescoes in Lyon, sipping cocktails above Budapest’s skyline, or enjoying spa rituals beside Lake Como, the Radisson Collection experience is curated to deliver luxury that feels local yet refined.

With this 2025 expansion, Radisson Collection reaffirms its role as a key player in the global lifestyle and luxury hotel space, responding to travelers’ growing desire for character-rich, story-driven accommodations.
