Hilton has officially entered the value-focused extended‑stay market with the launch of LivSmart Studios by Hilton, debuting on July 8, 2025, in Tullahoma, Tennessee. This marks a significant expansion of its long-stay offerings, joining Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites as the company’s third dedicated extended-stay brand.

A Brand Built for Long‑Stay Travelers

The Tullahoma property – an 89-room hotel – was created in response to rising demand from individuals staying 10 nights or more: traveling nurses, relocating professionals, and workforce-assignment guests. Each studio suite includes a full kitchen with a two-burner cooktop, full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and quality cookware—a clear nod to functionality coupled with hotel-grade convenience.

The brand’s public spaces – bright lobbies with laundry and fitness visibility, an on-site market, and patios with fire pits and grills- are crafted to foster community and convenience without unnecessary frills.

Strategic Market Expansion and Franchise ROI

Hilton has already signed over 225 deals and forecasts more than 90 LivSmart Studios properties opening in the coming years, including a forthcoming 137‑room hotel in Kokomo, Indiana. Franchise partners benefit from Hilton’s streamlined, cost-effective model—designed to offer owner-friendly development economics within a proven global system.

Executives at Hilton emphasize that LivSmart Studios fills a clear segment gap by delivering consistent, affordable stays with Hilton reliability – backed by brand recognition and loyalty integration.

Positioned to Meet Evolving Guest Needs

Hilton’s research highlighted a growing shift in long-stay preferences: guests want studio-style comfort, seamless self-catering, and flexibility – not extensive services. The LivSmart prototype caters to these priorities, leveraging minimalist design and functional amenities to optimize both guest experience and operational efficiency.

Hilton Honors integration adds further appeal: guests earn three points per dollar spent and receive bonus points for 10-night stays, along with exclusive booking perks – bridging affordability with loyalty benefits.
