
Disney Cruise Line is bringing back its beloved Pixar Day at Sea experience in 2026, delighting fans of Pixar films with immersive character meet-and-greets, themed shows, and festive onboard activities. The special event will take place on nine select seven-night sailings aboard the Disney Fantasy, sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, to the Caribbean from January through early March 2026.
First launched in 2023, Pixar Day at Sea has become one of Disney Cruise Line’s signature themed experiences. During this action-packed day at sea, guests are transported into the worlds of popular Pixar movies including Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Inside Out, and more. From themed character breakfasts to deck parties and original theatrical performances, the event offers something for every member of the family.
What to Expect Onboard
Pixar Day at Sea transforms the Disney Fantasy into a floating celebration of Pixar’s stories and characters. Guests can enjoy exclusive events such as:
- Character encounters with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Sulley, Mike Wazowski, Joy, and others
- A Pixar-themed parade and dance party on the deck
- Themed dining menus featuring dishes inspired by Pixar films
- Original shows and movie screenings in the ship’s Walt Disney Theatre
- Pixar-themed crafts, games, and family activities throughout the day
In addition, young cruisers can join interactive experiences in the Oceaneer Club and Lab, where Pixar-themed storytelling and games immerse them in the magic of animation.
Sailings and Itineraries
The nine itineraries featuring Pixar Day at Sea will depart from Port Canaveral between January and early March 2026 aboard the Disney Fantasy. These seven-night cruises will visit popular destinations including Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth (Jamaica), Tortola, St. Thomas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
Each sailing will include one designated Pixar Day at Sea, while the rest of the itinerary will feature classic Disney Cruise Line experiences like Broadway-style entertainment, fireworks at sea, and family-friendly dining.
Booking is now open for these special voyages, and as with previous themed sailings, demand is expected to be high. Families eager to sail with their favorite Pixar pals are encouraged to reserve early.
