JetBlue is expanding its European footprint next summer with two new transatlantic routes from Boston. The airline will launch daily seasonal service to Barcelona on April 16 and to Milan on May 11, with bookings set to open on November 20.

Both routes will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft featuring JetBlue’s Mint business-class suites and a full-service economy cabin.

The additions bring JetBlue’s European offering from Boston to nine destinations, including year-round flights to Amsterdam, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle, as well as seasonal service to Dublin, Edinburgh, Madrid and London Gatwick.

JetBlue will compete on both new routes with Delta’s summer flights and Iberia’s year-round Boston–Barcelona service, according to Cirium schedule data.

The move strengthens JetBlue’s presence in the competitive transatlantic market and offers travelers more nonstop options to major European cities.
