Air France is planning to open a new airport lounge at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4 in spring 2026, further strengthening its premium ground experience for travelers flying between the UK and Europe.
The lounge will be available to La Première and business class passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and eligible travelers flying with KLM and other SkyTeam alliance partners.
Designed to accommodate around 150 guests, the new lounge will feature dedicated dining areas, a bar, workspaces, and spa and relaxation zones. The focus is on combining comfort, productivity, and wellness – an increasingly important mix for both business and long-haul leisure travelers transiting one of Europe’s busiest airports.
The Heathrow opening reflects Air France’s broader investment in its global lounge portfolio. In recent months, the airline has unveiled revamped lounges at major US gateways including Chicago and Boston, signaling a renewed emphasis on premium customer experience beyond the aircraft cabin.
Air France currently operates up to seven daily flights between London Heathrow and its main hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. In addition, the airline is set to return to London Gatwick in 2026 with twice-daily services to Paris, further reinforcing its presence in the London market.
As competition intensifies on short- and long-haul European routes, upgraded lounges remain a key differentiator for airlines seeking to attract high-value travelers.
