Tauck has officially opened bookings for Roam, its first new brand in over a decade and one designed specifically for luxury travelers in their 40s and 50s. Developed after two years of research involving more than 4,000 participants, Roam focuses on small-group travel with an average of just 16 guests and emphasizes flexibility, active experiences, and signature moments rooted in Tauck’s century-long expertise. Five itineraries will debut in 2026 ahead of an expansion to 12 by 2027, with pricing beginning at $6,390.

CEO Jennifer Tombaugh said early enthusiasm from advisors shows the brand fills a significant gap in the market. Roam trips balance curated access with ample free time, catering to travelers who want a seamless guided experience while still exploring independently. Signature moments include hot air ballooning over Teotihuacan, kayaking beneath Dordogne’s castles, climbing Europe’s tallest sand dune near Bordeaux, and hiking the Camino de Santiago in Spain’s Basque Country.

The inaugural lineup spans six countries. Mexico City & San Miguel de Allende features private museum tours and a stay at Casa de Sierra Nevada. Bordeaux & The Dordogne combines wine experiences, kayaking and château visits, while San Sebastian & Rioja blends culinary exploration with hiking and medieval villages. A 10-day Prague & The Danube itinerary pairs a land tour with a river cruise aboard Tauck’s Savor, including visits to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. Porto & The Douro Valley offers active options like surfing, food tours, vineyard visits and a rock-art safari along the Douro.
