Southwest Airlines has added another international partner through a new interline agreement with German carrier Condor. The collaboration begins on January 19 with connections in Seattle, giving passengers access to Condor’s Frankfurt service and onward links across Europe.

The partnership will expand later in the spring as Condor resumes seasonal flights from Frankfurt to Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland and San Francisco. Travelers can now book interline itineraries through Condor’s website, travel agencies and OTAs, though bookings are not yet available on Southwest’s platform.

This marks Southwest’s fifth interline partnership this year, signaling a major strategic shift for the airline, which avoided such agreements for decades. Recent partnerships include Icelandair, EVA Air, China Airlines and Philippine Airlines. For Condor, Southwest becomes its second U.S. partner alongside Alaska Airlines, strengthening its West Coast connectivity.
