Corporate travel and expense management platform Navan has announced a leadership transition just weeks after completing its initial public offering, with Chief Financial Officer Amy Butte set to step down on January 9. The move comes as the company reports strong financial momentum and growing enterprise demand across its travel-focused platform.

Amy Butte, who joined Navan in June 2024, played a key role in preparing the company for life as a public entity. According to co-founder and CEO Ariel Cohen, her experience in building finance organizations and guiding companies through public-market readiness was instrumental during the IPO process.

While stepping away from the CFO role, Butte will remain involved as a strategic advisor to support continuity during the search for a permanent successor. Anne Giviskos, Navan’s senior vice president of strategic finance and chief accounting officer, will serve as interim CFO.

Navan reported $195 million in revenue for the third quarter of 2025, up from $151 million a year earlier, highlighting continued strength in corporate travel demand despite broader economic uncertainty. The company also emphasized strong enterprise momentum and high customer satisfaction, reinforcing its position in the business travel technology space. While net losses widened during the quarter, Navan cited increased investment in marketing and growth initiatives as part of its long-term expansion strategy.

Executives noted that corporate travel demand remained resilient, with no material impact from recent government shutdown-related disruptions. Navan continues to position its AI-powered, end-to-end platform as a differentiator, offering broad travel inventory, consumer-style booking experiences, and automated support tools designed to streamline travel for frequent business travelers.
