JetBlue is expanding its San Juan network with five new year-round routes launching in March, reinforcing its position as Puerto Rico’s largest airline by seats flown. The carrier will add service from Philadelphia, Buffalo, Jacksonville, Richmond, and Norfolk, bringing its San Juan network to 22 destinations.

The expansion comes as competition intensifies, though JetBlue continues to operate more flights and offer significantly more seats than Frontier, the island’s other major low-cost competitor.

The new Jacksonville flights will run four times weekly starting March 13, followed by daily service from Philadelphia on March 26. Richmond service will operate three times per week beginning the same day. JetBlue will also launch four-times-weekly flights connecting San Juan to both Norfolk and Buffalo on March 27, strengthening access between Puerto Rico and key East Coast and Mid-Atlantic markets.

JetBlue’s expanded footprint underscores the airline’s long-term commitment to Puerto Rico and its strategy to deepen connectivity into underserved U.S. regions while capturing growing demand for Caribbean leisure travel.
