The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has appointed Ernesto Fara as CEO, expanding his current role as president and marking a leadership transition for the luxury cruise brand. Fara, who joined the company in 2020 as CFO and previously held the same position at Silversea Cruises, succeeds Jim Murren, who will remain involved as executive chairman.
Fara’s promotion comes shortly after the successful launch of the brand’s third yacht, Luminara, which signals a continued expansion into new regions. He emphasized that this next phase will focus on refining the guest experience and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy. Murren, who led the brand as CEO since 2023, was credited for helping shape its identity and establishing its premium position in the market.
