Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially opened three new properties in Shanghai’s emerging Lingang area, establishing a large-scale hospitality destination designed to meet the needs of business travelers, leisure guests, and long-stay visitors.

The new hotels – Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Center, and Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang – occupy a prime location in the heart of the district, offering convenient access to major attractions such as the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, Dishui Lake, Haichang Ocean Park, and L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort. With Metro Line 16 just steps away, guests can easily travel to central Shanghai and other parts of the city.

The three hotels operate under a shared vision of “artistic exploration,” with each property incorporating sculptures, installations, and artwork that celebrate Lingang’s maritime heritage. Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang features gallery-inspired spaces and 305 guestrooms overlooking Dishui Lake. Some rooms offer exclusive views of weekend fireworks, while themed family rooms provide an inspiring experience for travelers with children.

Guests can choose from six dining venues, enjoy pet-friendly accommodations, and take advantage of nearly 53,000 square feet of event space. A 24-hour fitness center and a two-story kids’ club add to the property’s appeal as a well-rounded destination for families and groups.

Connected to the Regency via an indoor sky bridge, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Center caters to business travelers with 364 rooms and a modern collection of flexible meeting venues. Families will also find the hotel welcoming, thanks to dedicated family room designs and access to the nearby attractions around Dishui Lake. The property’s multi-level event spaces are designed to support large conferences, streamlined meetings, and business gatherings.

Completing the trio, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang offers 128 rooms tailored to extended-stay guests. Kitchenettes, refrigerators, and in-room washer-dryers provide the comforts of home, making the hotel a practical choice for long-term visitors, relocating families, and business travelers staying for multiple weeks. Together, the three hotels create a unified destination within Lingang, offering guests a seamless blend of comfort, convenience, and artistic design.

World of Hyatt members can earn an additional 500 Bonus Points per qualifying night at the new hotels through February 28, 2026. The offer applies automatically, allowing members to enjoy extra rewards as they experience the newest additions to Hyatt’s expanding portfolio.

Hyatt’s expansion in Lingang underscores the district’s rapid growth and its increasing importance as a hub for business, innovation, and leisure in Shanghai. By offering three distinct yet complementary hotels, Hyatt is positioning the area as a vibrant, multifaceted destination for travelers from around the world.
