In a nationwide tribute to those who serve, the United Kingdom will offer free bus travel to veterans, military personnel, and cadets on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. The initiative, led by Stagecoach South West, ensures that members of the armed forces community can attend memorial services and events without transportation costs.

The program also includes a symbolic gesture—buses adorned with poppy-themed designs and destination screens displaying messages of remembrance. These moving tributes aim to remind passengers of the enduring significance of honoring military service.

Stagecoach’s commitment extends beyond these commemorative days. The company has supported the Armed Forces Covenant since 2015, maintains a veterans’ network for staff, and has earned a Gold Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme for its ongoing support of service members and their families.
