JetBlue is set to end its decade-long loyalty partnership with scheduled charter carrier JSX, marking a notable shift in how travelers earn rewards on premium short-haul flights. February 28, 2026, will be the final day that members of JetBlue’s TruBlue loyalty program can earn points from JSX bookings, bringing an end to a relationship that dates back to 2016.

JetBlue first partnered with JSX – then known as JetSuiteX – nearly ten years ago, when it also made an equity investment in the carrier. Under the agreement, TruBlue members were able to earn up to 250 points per JSX flight segment, though those points could not be redeemed for JSX flights themselves. The partnership primarily appealed to travelers seeking a premium, semi-private flying experience on short regional routes while still earning rewards tied to JetBlue’s broader network.

While JetBlue is stepping away from the partnership, JSX will continue to work with United Airlines through its MileagePlus program. MileagePlus members can earn up to 100 percent of the miles flown on JSX, depending on fare class. This creates an indirect option for travelers who want to continue leveraging JSX flights within a broader loyalty ecosystem, as United and JetBlue launched a reciprocal partnership last year that allows MileagePlus points to be redeemed for JetBlue flights.

For frequent travelers, the move highlights ongoing shifts in airline loyalty strategies as carriers refine partnerships and focus on core networks. The end of the JetBlue-JSX loyalty tie underscores how premium niche operators and major airlines continue to reassess how closely their reward programs should align.
