Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit has completed an extensive renovation of its suite accommodations, concluding a $30 million upgrade carried out over a 12-month period. The project reimagines the resort’s most spacious suites with a refined, contemporary aesthetic designed to enhance comfort while strengthening the connection to the surrounding natural environment of Mexico’s Pacific coastline.
The renovation focused on the resort’s Master, Parlor, and Grand Terrace Suites, each offering more than 1,000 square feet of interior space. The refreshed interiors feature a soft, calming color palette inspired by Riviera Nayarit’s landscapes, combining sand, beige, cream, and warm wood tones with subtle green accents. Natural materials take center stage throughout the design, including polished stone surfaces, textured upholstery, organic fabrics, and custom wood detailing.
Local craftsmanship is reflected in curated textiles and woodwork that bring an authentic regional character into each suite. Design highlights include backlit wall elements, natural stone textures, and improved spatial layouts that emphasize both visual harmony and functionality.
In addition to visual upgrades, the renovation delivered meaningful enhancements to guest comfort, including redesigned seating areas, ergonomic furniture, upgraded bedding, and increased storage. These improvements aim to create a more intuitive and relaxing in-suite experience, particularly for longer stays.
The updated suites remain part of the resort’s all-inclusive offering, with nightly rates starting at $533 per adult based on double occupancy. The rate includes à la carte dining at specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, and all taxes and gratuities.
