The Walt Disney Company has appointed Thomas Mazloum as Chairman of Disney Experiences, placing him in charge of one of the company’s largest travel and leisure divisions. The leadership change was announced by Disney Experiences Chairman and incoming Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro, who said the new appointments reflect a period of significant growth for the company’s global attractions and travel businesses.
Mazloum will oversee a broad portfolio that includes Disney’s theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, guided travel experiences, consumer products, and Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative division responsible for designing Disney attractions and destinations. According to Disney, the role places him at the center of the company’s strategy to expand its global experiences business and bring Disney destinations to more travelers around the world.
Mazloum has spent several years within Disney Experiences, most recently serving as President of Disneyland Resort, where he managed two theme parks, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney District during the resort’s 70th anniversary celebrations. Earlier, as President of Disney Signature Experiences, he helped develop a long-term growth plan for Disney Cruise Line that included doubling the size of the fleet and expanding the brand into new international markets. That expansion included the launch of the Disney Adventure cruise ship in Singapore, the cruise line’s eighth vessel and its first to be homeported in Asia.
Before joining Disney, Mazloum built his career in luxury hospitality across Europe and later served as Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Cruise Line.
Disney also announced additional leadership changes within its travel and experiences division. Jill Estorino will become President of Disneyland Resort, Tasia Filippatos will lead Disney Parks International, and Lisa Baldzicki will serve as President of Disney Consumer Products. All roles will report to Mazloum, with the transitions taking effect March 18, 2026.
